When looking into buying a timeshare, the first enquiry will be - what are you purchasing in the pool of other products? - a fixed week, a floating week or points etc.
The problem with all timeshare sales presentations is that all the products are not being displayed or available. In all circumstances the sales teams when discussing the sale with you will be showcasing what it is they want to sell to you not what is available on a re sales market.
In short, the difference between the diverse products may be rigidity, flexibility, surety or investment potential. Of course, on the dark side, you could be exposed to heavy losses when first acquired, acquiring a runt timeshare or one that you can’t visit re-sell, or get out of.
